COOKED - JENS BLANK (2010)

Written by Jens Blank and Caroline Bruckner, Cooked was made at the National Film & Television School and nominated at the Cannes Film Festival in 2010. It tells the story of a romantically challenged walrus who is keen on a lady seal. However, a rather brash, outsized lobster is forever getting in the way. When the the love triangle end up in a sauna, the walrus sees a chance to get rid of the lobster. In truth, the story is not that inventive but the characters are voiced expertly by Stephen Mangan (Episodes), David Morrissey (The Walking Dead) and Katherine Parkinson (Humans).
