FATHER & DAUGHTER - MICHAEL DUDOK DE WIT (2000)

Dutch animator Michael Dudok de Wit had been nominated for an Oscar with his short animation Le Moine et le Poissonin (The Monk & The Fish) in 1994 before claiming both the Academy Award and BAFTA for best short animation with Father and Daughter. In this beautiful, dialogue-free short film, a father and his daughter go cycling before the father bids his daughter farewell. The years pass by and the daughter grows old too, but within her is always the deep longing for her father... it it is a bit of a weepy (like House On Little Cubes) so be warned! If you like the Oscar-winning animation Father And Daughter by Michael Dudok de Wit be sure to rate it and share it.
