SESSION MAN - SETH WINSTON (1991)

Session Man by Seth Winston won the Academy Award for Best Short Film in 1992. It follows a night in the life of session man McQueen, a hired musician who is asked to come into the studio and help the Raging Kings, a mega rock group, finish an album track. His presence prompts the lead guitarist to quit the band and McQueen proves himself an accomplished substitute. Could this be the big break for which McQueen has been waiting? The actor, James Remar, is now best known for Dexter.
