THE RAFT - JAN THURING (2004)

The Raft (Das Floß) is a classic example of a stop-motion animation from German animator Jan Thüring. In The Raft, we find two men lost at sea and starving of hunger. When a seagull leaves behind a fish their previous teamwork turns into a no-holds-barred fight. Throw in a shark and the return of the seagull along with fantastic animation and you have a very nice short movie. Perhaps the most impressive part of Thuring's The Raft is how the water is produced. If you like The Raft by Jan Thüring, be sure to rate it and share it with the rest of the world.
