HOLIDAY SEASON COMPETITION

The winner of the last competition was Peanut Butter Lips by Jamie Hooper. The next FILMSshort competition will take place summer 2012 so watch out!

The Steps

1. Submit a YouTube or similar link via the Facebook app here during December 2011.
Films should have been completed after 2009, 2 to 6 minutes and in English/subtitled.

2. We will select 8 films and post them on the FACEBOOK page for your viewing pleasure.

3. The judges will choose the overall winner, which will appear on the FILMSshort
homepage and remain on the FILMSshort website as long as you want it to!

Q. Are there any cash prizes?
A. No. This is for fun and kudos. It helps promote the website and the filmmakers.

Q Why does it have to be between 2 and 6 minutes?
A. It makes it more likely that visitors to the site and FB page will watch them.

Q. Will you show preference to British and American films?
A. No.

Q. Who are the judges?
Kino London, who watch dozens of short films every month.
Johan Verschueren, who wrote the Oscar-nominated Gridlock.
Filmmaker Erez Tadmor, who co-directed Strangers and Offside.
The guest American judge is Colin Levy, director of Sintel!
