Directed by Jon Knautz and written by Charles Johnston, Still Life is a fine example of short horror movie. In this 2005 short horror film, a pill-popping driver is passing through a small Canadian town when he hits something: apparently a china mannequin. He goes for help but the town is apparenlty populated by a host of the lifeless mannequins. Disturbingly, they move when he is looking the other way. They are reminiscent of the 'angels' in the Doctor Who television series from the UK but Still Life did, of course, come first. Both the writer and director went on to make feature films in their native country. If you like short horror Still Life by Jon Knautz be sure to rate it and share it with your friends.
